Who we are
Nexy is a membership platform made by Bond Software Group, based in Melbourne, Australia. This policy covers personal information collected through this website, nexy.au. It is written to be read, not skimmed past, because how we handle information is part of how we earn trust.
What we collect
If you use the contact form, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, organisation, role, phone number, organisation type, member count band and your message.
If you email yourself a pricing estimate, we collect your name, email address and the estimate you built, including the tier, figures and selections you chose.
If you subscribe to our writing, we collect your email address.
Like most websites, we also collect standard technical information such as pages visited, approximate location and device type, through the analytics tools described below.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to send you the estimate you asked for, to prepare for a conversation you have requested, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
When you request a pricing estimate, you get the estimate. We do not add you to a marketing sequence, and there is no follow-up campaign attached to it. If we write to you beyond what you asked for, it is a person writing, not a system.
Where it goes
Your information is stored in the systems we use to run the business: our customer relationship management system (HubSpot), our email delivery service (Resend) and our website host (Netlify). We use Google advertising measurement to understand whether our advertising works.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers with strong security practices, and we only send them what they need to do their job.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses a small number of cookies for analytics and advertising measurement, from HubSpot and Google. They help us understand which pages are useful and whether our advertising is worth what we pay for it. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site works without them. You can also manage advertising personalisation through your Google settings.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email meet@nexy.au and we will deal with it promptly and without fuss.
If you believe we have mishandled your information and we have not resolved it to your satisfaction, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information while it is relevant to a conversation, an enquiry or a commercial relationship, and delete it when it is not. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we are required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
Security
Information travels to and from this site encrypted. Access to our systems is controlled, credentialed and limited to the people who need it. No system is beyond risk, and we will be straight with you if something goes wrong that affects you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the change will be published here with a new effective date. We will not quietly rewrite history.
